Racial Equity Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic, research, and writing assistance to the Racial Equity team at GroundBreakers.

• Perform needs assessments with leaders in racial equity to shape impactful programs.

• Research antiracism practices within nonprofit organizations and social movements.

• Administer surveys to guide the development of the Racial Equity Guidebook.

• Assist in planning and managing events for the Racial Equity Roundtable Series.

• Partner with the GroundBreakers Media Team to promote content effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven commitment to racial equity is essential.

• Prior experience in conducting interviews and writing is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with graphic design tools, including Canva, is strongly desired.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

• A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive work culture and being a reliable team player is required.

• Candidates must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
