R2R SAP Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with business and digital team members, as well as cross-functional teams, to comprehend business requirements and offer guidance on effectively utilizing the ERP system.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4HANA, improving our workstream processes in accordance with the desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.

• Assist in the development of new and innovative solutions to bolster digital and business strategies, as well as common design goals.

• Aid in evaluating options for bolt-on applications and provide recommendations based on functional requirements, the desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.

• Support the data team and process teams in activities related to data mapping and testing.

• Document standard solutions, including configuration documents, process flows, and data policies.

• Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations, and workflows that fall within the scope of the workstream as part of the program.

• Provide sustainment support by assisting end-users with issues related to SAP functionality, including troubleshooting and error resolution.

• Oversee system monitoring responsibilities for both inbound and outbound integrations and address any failures that may occur.

• The travel requirement for this position will be between 25% to 50% during the project rollout, with expectations to decrease significantly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field along with at least 7 years of experience, or in the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with finance processes such as Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany dealings, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, and Project Accounting.

• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems, including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities, particularly in the areas of FI-GL, FI-BL, FI-AA, Reporting, and Profit Center accounting.

• Proven experience in supporting SAP integrations, for example, with Tax engines and Workday/ADP.
