Quality Systems Project Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in Quality Systems for the deployment of the MedTech Surgery SAP ERP Management System, known as Project Transcend 2.0.

• Monitor and report on the status and completion of action plans for Quality workstream project deliverables.

• Collaborate with the Deployment Lead and work alongside the Surgery Franchise to align and integrate optimized Ethicon Quality system processes.

• Work with cross-functional teams to pinpoint, resolve, and create business solutions that meet Transcend global template requirements.

• Create training materials and define user requirements.

• Conduct user acceptance testing and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions.

• Document business processes that align with technical requirements.

• Support cross-functional meetings involving Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, and Master Data Management workstreams.

• Recognize continuous improvement opportunities within quality systems and processes.

• Identify and raise awareness of requirements gaps while communicating the associated business impact and risks.

• Assist in executing Quality deployment activities with the MedTech Surgery Transcend team.

• Ensure compliance for both personal and Company operations with all relevant Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or an equivalent degree.

• A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Engineering.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and skills in failure investigation.

• Demonstrated skills in project management with a results-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in effective communication with all levels of management and functions.

• Capable of fostering collaboration, partnership, and teamwork across local and global organizations.

• Exhibited leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes through collaborative efforts.

• Proven effectiveness as both a team member and team leader.

• Experience managing audits/inspections with the FDA, other notified bodies, or any Health Authority.

• Preferred knowledge of SAP, including the ability to navigate and utilize SAP systems for business and quality processes.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% is required.
