
Quality Support Technician – Travel Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct scheduled visits for the Quality Support Program (QSP) at client locations.
• Execute routine cleaning of photographic lab equipment, printers, kiosks, and related components following both manufacturer and company protocols.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure equipment is functioning within set performance criteria.
• Implement preventative maintenance tasks aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing service interruptions.
• Assess equipment for wear, damage, or potential failures, and accurately document observations.
• Execute print quality assessments, color checks, calibration confirmations, and operational tests.
• Detect issues that necessitate repair and relay findings via appropriate service documentation and escalation processes.
• Substitute approved consumable maintenance items and carry out routine preventative maintenance as per established guidelines.
• Keep precise service records, inspection reports, photographs, and documentation through company systems.
• Communicate professionally with store staff regarding maintenance completed, equipment status, and suggested follow-up actions.
• Ensure that workspaces are left tidy, organized, and compliant with both company and customer standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, maintenance materials, and assigned equipment.
• Travel frequently (regionally and nationally as needed) and adjust to scheduling demands, including overnight travel when necessary.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols, customer site requirements, and regulatory guidelines while executing fieldwork.
• Represent the company in a professional manner and provide an outstanding customer experience during each Quality Support Program visit.
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in printer service and repair (inkjet and dye-sublimation experience required).
• Minimum 2 years in field services, installation, or a related technical background.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and customer service capabilities.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and the capability to pass background checks, motor vehicle reports, and drug screenings.
