This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Conduct quality control assessments of all deliverables and work products to ensure compliance with the QASP standard of 98% accuracy, including proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting suitable for the target audience.
β’ Create strategies and programs to achieve and sustain product and service quality throughout the entire lifecycle of deliverables.
β’ Provide support for End-to-End testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Veteran and Family Member Program (VFMP) Modernization initiatives, including UAT plans, test cases, test scenarios, End-to-End Test Plans, test schedules, and training for testers.
β’ Maintain a Production Defect and Issue Tracker to log all opened and closed defects and issues, including comprehensive descriptions, dates, owners, next steps, and necessary escalations.
β’ Oversee operations to avert the production of defects and ensure compliance with quality plans and requirements.
β’ Analyze and investigate negative quality trends or conditions, initiating corrective actions, including firm commitments for necessary changes to meet standards.
β’ Develop and implement performance metrics to track program status, analyzing metrics to provide recommendations for enhancements.
β’ Ensure that automation and modernization tools meet 100% of the agreed-upon business requirements during User Acceptance Testing prior to deployment.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or deliverable quality control, ideally in support of government programs.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field.
β’ Proven experience in developing and executing quality plans, ensuring adherence to quality requirements, and driving corrective actions.
β’ Background in supporting UAT or End-to-End testing, including the creation of test cases, test scenarios, and test schedules.
β’ Familiarity with quality management systems, tools, and techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, ISO 9000/9001, or the Malcolm Baldrige criteria.
β’ A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to marketing trends and technologies.
β’ Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to think critically.
β’ Capability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
β’ Experience in supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
β’ Comfort with managing intricate client relationships.
β’ Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
β’ Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
β’ Remote work is anticipated; occasional travel for client engagements may be necessary.
