Quality Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and lead the strategic quality framework for Brahma Studio, the advanced digital human creation engine.

• Mentor Studio developers on comprehensive testing strategies, integration workflows, system boundaries, and end-to-end failure scenarios.

• Set quality standards, expectations for test coverage, and accountability prior to release.

• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders during the architecture and PRD phases to define testability and quality metrics.

• Develop testing strategies and operational health checks for pipeline performance, job execution health, and infrastructure reliability.

• Convert subjective requirements related to media output, UI responsiveness, and executive performance targets into quantifiable quality benchmarks.

• Create structured exploratory testing methodologies to identify edge cases and unforeseen system behaviors.

• Oversee test management, quality gate tracking, and documentation systems related to release health.

• Establish asynchronous test-case specifications and handoff protocols in coordination with the shared QA team.

• Monitor pre-release quality gates and engage in release risk assessments.

• Conduct root-cause post-mortems and enhance engineering practices.

• Report directly to the VP of Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Lead or Quality Architect, guiding engineering teams in adopting advanced testing methodologies and comprehensive quality ownership.

• Exceptional skill in translating subjective or qualitative objectives into clear, repeatable testing standards and acceptance criteria.

• Experience in selecting, structuring, and driving team-wide adoption of test management platforms, quality documentation processes, and gate tracking metrics.

• Demonstrated capacity to build efficient asynchronous workflows that align product development teams with shared QA resources across various regions and time zones.

• Familiarity with web APIs, distributed systems, and backend integration processes.

• Experience in establishing quality or performance benchmarks for complex media pipelines, AI-driven applications, or non-deterministic systems.

• Experience working in scaling, high-growth engineering organizations undergoing rapid integration.
