This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Act as the representative for the quality function in technical support, collaborating with internal support groups on manufacturing concerns.
• Create and uphold QA plans and process routings.
• Assist in quoting by engaging in initial process design, development, and execution.
• Assess and enhance inspection processes using inspection aids and guidelines.
• Design and conduct specialized training sessions.
• Review and manage documentation files along with document storage and access systems.
• Examine discrepancies from suppliers and customers, coordinating corrective and preventative actions.
• Analyze defect trends across customer, supplier, and internal locations.
• Take part in vendor survey initiatives.
• Encourage supplier involvement and support efforts for process improvements.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation.
• Oversee departmental activities, offering technical and logistical support to quality engineering personnel.
• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding quality concerns.
• Lead corrective action initiatives utilizing SPC data and corrective action tracking tools.
• Organize and implement meetings, procedures, and team-building strategies for corrective and preventative efforts.
• Act as a liaison between Jabil and suppliers or customers on quality-related matters.
• Enhance technical support for the quality organization.
• Adhere to safety, health, and company security protocols.
• A bachelor's degree is required along with two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with QA plans and process routings.
• Experience in inspection processes, including the use of inspection aids and guidelines.
• Capability to develop and execute specialized training programs.
• Proficiency in document control and documentation systems.
• Experience in reviewing discrepancies from suppliers and customers.
• Knowledge of corrective and preventative action processes.
• Experience in analyzing defect trends.
• Understanding of supplier process enhancement and vendor surveys.
• Knowledge of ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation.
• Familiarity with SPC data and corrective action tracking tools.
