This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Create and uphold quality assurance plans and process routings that reflect both intended and actual activities.
• Assist in quoting by designing, developing, and implementing initial process plans.
• Assess and enhance inspection processes utilizing inspection aids and instructional guidelines.
• Design and execute specialized training sessions for relevant functions.
• Review and manage documentation files and systems for efficient document storage and accessibility.
• Examine discrepancies from suppliers and customers, coordinating corrective and preventative actions.
• Analyze defect trends observed at customer locations, suppliers, and internally.
• Engage in vendor survey initiatives.
• Foster proactive supplier involvement and contribute to process enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with various departments concerning policies, procedures, ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation.
• Oversee departmental activities while providing technical and logistical support to the quality engineering team.
• Offer technical assistance regarding quality issues to customers.
• Spearhead corrective-action initiatives utilizing SPC data and corrective-action tracking tools.
• Organize and implement meetings, procedures, and team-building strategies that promote corrective and preventative measures.
• Act as a liaison between Jabil and suppliers or customers on matters related to quality.
• Enhance technical support for the quality department.
• Adhere to safety, health, and company security protocols.
• A bachelor's degree is required along with two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with quality engineering support for manufacturing challenges.
• Understanding of quality assurance plans and process routings.
• Experience with inspection processes, inspection aids, and instructional guidelines.
• Capability to develop and deliver specialized training programs.
• Proficiency in document control and records access systems.
• Experience in reviewing discrepancies from suppliers and customers.
• Knowledge of corrective and preventative action processes.
• Experience in analyzing defect trends.
• Experience with supplier process enhancements and vendor survey initiatives.
• Familiarity with ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation.
• Technical and logistical support skills for quality engineering personnel.
• Proficient in utilizing SPC data and corrective-action tracking tools.
