Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the Unified Advisor Experience platform concerning electronic applications, lifecycle tracking, and electronic document management.

• Develop and sustain automated API and integration testing suites.

• Verify data presented to advisors, including application and transaction lifecycle statuses, client statements, and tax documents.

• Confirm integrations between backend systems and the advisor portal interface.

• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end data validation.

• Perform validation of metadata and tagging.

• Carry out entitlement and access-control testing.

• Execute regression testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Oversee the defect lifecycle management.

• Work collaboratively with backend developers in an Agile team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in API and integration test automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

• Skilled in test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.

• Experience in performing end-to-end data validation across integrated source systems and front-end API contracts.

• Competent in designing and executing regression testing within CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub and pull request workflows.

• Familiarity with Agile quality engineering practices and defect lifecycle management.

• Preferred: Background in performance and load testing.

• Preferred: Experience in testing Salesforce integrations.

• Preferred: Knowledge of testing document management integrations, including Alfresco.

• Preferred: Experience in testing within the financial services or banking domain.

• Preferred: Proficiency in using Playwright for end-to-end and UI automation.

• Preferred: Experience with Postman for API test collections and integration testing.

• Preferred: Familiarity with JMeter for performance and load testing.

• Preferred: Experience with CI/CD-integrated automated test suites that produce test reports, screenshots, and logs.

• Preferred: Exposure to enhancing automation coverage at orchestration and integration layers, including service-facade and orchestration testing.
