This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and establish AI-enabled test automation frameworks utilizing contemporary tools like Cursor and Playwright.
• Develop test cases derived from requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria by leveraging AI capabilities.
• Construct solutions for generating automation scripts from natural language.
• Verify the correctness, safety, and reliability of AI/GenAI-based features.
• Conduct prompt-based validation to identify hallucinations, inconsistencies, and edge cases.
• Maintain data integrity and isolation within AI-driven workflows.
• Design and implement testing solutions that utilize AI-driven prompt engineering, Skills, Cursor Rules, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
• Develop and uphold scalable end-to-end automated testing frameworks covering frontend UI, backend microservices, and data layers.
• Create and enhance AI-focused CI/CD pipelines for ongoing model and integration workflow validation.
• Implement monitoring in production to track model performance, identify anomalies, and ensure reliability.
• Design testing for load and performance using AI methodologies.
• Serve as a liaison among Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers.
• Facilitate alignment on quality objectives, testing strategies, and readiness for release.
• Analyze model drift, data inconsistencies, and system failures.
• Propose architectural or data-driven enhancements.
• Mentor members of the Quality Engineering team.
• Support Granicus's mission to provide cloud-based technology solutions that connect governments with residents.
• 7–10 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Demonstrated experience in AI applications for testing, automation, and performance testing using AI agents and IDEs.
• Familiarity with AI IDEs or tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or similar solutions.
• Strong practical experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Understanding of automation design patterns, including Page Object Model and fixtures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in Git and version control workflows.
• Basic knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud environments.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Understanding of metrics such as response time, throughput, error rate, and concurrency.
• Experience in testing SaaS and web-based enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of clear and structured communication with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of ownership.
• Ability to balance quality with delivery timelines while achieving zero escaped defects.
• Capability to mentor members of the Quality Engineering team.
• Responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets.
• Accountable for ensuring the privacy of employee and customer data and completing the required privacy training.
