Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive quality engineering processes for healthcare and insurance applications within an enterprise setting.

• Guarantee superior delivery on the Pega Customer Decision Hub and Google cloud platforms.

• Create, develop, and sustain automated testing frameworks and test suites.

• Enhance test coverage, reliability, and efficiency of execution.

• Confirm Pega decision-making capabilities, such as Next Best Action, NBA Designer, Treatments, Proposition Management, Adaptive Models, Customer Journeys, and Decision Strategies.

• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Formulate and implement API testing strategies.

• Verify system integrations and business services.

• Incorporate automated test suites into Azure DevOps and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

• Facilitate continuous testing to speed up software delivery cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA, test automation, or quality engineering.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in Selenium and/or Playwright automation tools.

• Experience in testing Pega-based solutions, particularly the Customer Decision Hub.

• Knowledge in API testing and validation of REST services.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.

• Alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED along with 4 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred: Experience with Pega CDH, NBA Designer, Next Best Action, adaptive models, proposition management, case management, or customer order management.

• Preferred: Background in the healthcare or insurance sectors.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Tosca, Appium, GitHub Copilot, DBeaver, or Visual Studio Enterprise.

• Preferred: Possession of ISTQB, Scrum, Tosca, or Selenium-related certifications.
