Quality Engineer 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, assess, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web-based SaaS solutions.

• Create and uphold UI automation frameworks and tests utilizing Playwright.

• Execute performance testing (load, stress, endurance) and identify performance bottlenecks.

• Develop and manage JMeter test scripts, performance reports, and benchmarks.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Work alongside developers to promote early testing and enhance test coverage.

• Investigate defects, provide clear root-cause analysis, and validate corrective actions.

• Ensure that non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, reliability) are fulfilled.

• Contribute to test metrics, quality dashboards, and decisions regarding release approvals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• Demonstrated experience in automation and performance testing.

• Proficient in testing SaaS or web-based applications.

• Strong practical experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).

• Familiarity with automation design patterns (Page Object Model, fixtures).

• Experience with Apache JMeter (test plans, listeners, distributed testing).

• Understanding of key performance indicators such as response time, throughput, error rate, and concurrency.

• Skilled in manual testing, exploratory testing, and regression testing.

• Experience in API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP concepts).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

• Understanding of web architectures, microservices, and basic cloud concepts.
