Quality Control Specialist – AI/ML, Khmer Language

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cambodia.

📋 Description

• Assess completed Display Transcription assignments for precision and consistency.

• Contrast the Display Transcription with the original lexical transcript and established project guidelines.

• Confirm punctuation, capitalization, numerical data, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text normalization standards.

• Ensure the original wording and intent remain intact.

• Detect and rectify formatting or guideline-related discrepancies.

• Utilize reference audio when necessary to clarify ambiguous situations.

• Consistently implement project-specific quality benchmarks.

• Offer precise feedback and highlight recurring problems as needed.

• Fulfill assigned QC responsibilities within project deadlines and productivity goals.

• Evaluate language annotation tasks supporting an AI speech recognition initiative.

• Capability to spot inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.

• Basic computer proficiency and a dependable internet connection.

• Capacity to work autonomously and achieve quality and productivity objectives.

• Prior experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Training and project guidelines will be provided prior to the commencement of the project.
