Quality Control Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a Company Quality Control program for solar PV and BESS initiatives.

• Negotiate QC contract details with EPCs and evaluate and authorize EPCs' QA/QC strategies.

• Conduct site visits to assess EPCs' implementation and compliance with QA/QC protocols.

• Analyze manufacturer factory acceptance testing outcomes for transformers, inverters, PV modules, breakers, and other Owner Furnished Equipment.

• Participate in golden row walks and initial installation assessments for significant construction milestones on-site.

• Compile a punch list of construction deficiencies through on-site inspections and contractor submission evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline.

• At least 4 years of experience in solar construction and quality control.

• Strong understanding of the solar and BESS construction processes.

• Familiarity with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, SCADA, Substation, and Structural installation practices for solar projects.

• Knowledge of the NEC, NESC, NETA ATS, ASTM standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Blue Beam software.

• Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
