This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.
• Act as a government-approved alternate CQC System Manager for any ongoing federal project.
• Be prepared to deploy to project locations on short notice to cover QCM vacancies.
• Keep qualifications and resume packages updated for CQC System Manager approval.
• Implement the complete CQC system upon deployment, including three-phase inspections, daily QC reports, and management of submittals.
• Offer expert technical and procedural support on demand to all Ameresco Federal site QCMs.
• Mentor and develop site QCMs to enhance consistency throughout the portfolio.
• Perform field audits and assessments of the QC program for ongoing projects.
• Standardize QC plans, documentation, and reporting methodologies.
• Stay proficient in government QC systems and ensure compliance with electronic reporting requirements for projects.
• At least 10 years of experience in construction Quality Control on federal projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Valid USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification.
• In-depth knowledge of UFGS frameworks, Division 01 specifications, the three-phase control system, DFOW methodology, and federal submittal and testing criteria.
• Demonstrated capability to gain approval as a CQC System Manager from government QA representatives across various project types.
• Skilled in using USACE RMS / QCS and/or NAVFAC electronic QC systems.
• Willingness and capability to travel frequently and deploy to project sites for extended periods.
