This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and oversee the project Quality Control (QC) Plan in accordance with contract specifications.
• Implement the Three-Phases of Quality Control methodology.
• Conduct daily quality inspections and coordinate necessary testing activities.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, SSHOs, and subcontractors on new Definable Features of Work (DFOW).
• Review and manage submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and quality-related documentation.
• Monitor and address deficiencies through corrective actions and follow-up inspections.
• Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
• A minimum of 1 year as a Quality Control Manager (QCM) on USACE or NAVFAC construction projects.
• Capability to review confidential US security information.
• Proven experience in executing a three-phase Quality Control (QC) plan.
• Strong understanding of Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), quality control plans, and federal construction standards.
• Proficiency in USACE RMS, NAVFAC QCS, or equivalent reporting software.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and ability to operate independently.
• Familiarity with BlueBeam Revu or similar software, including skills to manipulate PDF documents and drawings.
• Typing speed of over 40 words per minute.
