Quality Control Inspector – Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily quality inspections for welding, pipeline, facilities, mechanical, and turnaround operations.

• Ensure adherence to project specifications, approved drawings, relevant codes, and client requirements.

• Organize and observe quality testing activities, including NDE, hydrostatic testing, and material validation.

• Confirm that materials are properly documented, traceable, and compliant before installation.

• Maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), detailing hold points, witness points, and client inspections.

• Detect non-conformances and support the implementation of corrective measures.

• Validate weld documentation, material traceability, and turnover records.

• Compile inspection reports, quality documentation, and project closeout packages.

• Engage in client, regulatory, and third-party inspections and audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• CWB Welding Inspector Level 2 certification is essential.

• Proven experience in quality inspections for pipeline, facility, industrial, oil and gas, or turnaround projects.

• In-depth knowledge of welding inspection, construction quality processes, NDE, pressure testing, and material traceability.

• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications.

• Familiarity with CSA, ASME, API, and client quality standards is regarded as an advantage.
