Quality Control Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Engage in a vibrant environment where you can leverage your enthusiasm, expertise in quality manufacturing, and robust problem-solving abilities to enhance Virtual Quality Control inspection processes within Quality Assurance.

• Collaborate with DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Case Management, and our Supply Chain (Partner) while providing support to Xometry Partners (Contract Manufacturers) Network.

• Conduct Virtual Quality Control inspections by reviewing all necessary documents and images uploaded to the Xometry Partner Portal and ERP.

• Adhere to clearly defined procedures as Partners are considered external Customers.

• Work closely with Case Management, Partner Support, and MRB to effectively manage rework through both internal and external resources, ensuring a swift turnaround time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication skills - proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.

• At least 5 years of experience in dimensionally inspecting manufactured products.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, including assembly drawings.

• Understanding and/or education, skills, and experience related to manufacturing processes.

• Proficient in interpreting and developing Dimensional Inspection Reports.

• A self-motivated individual who diligently completes tasks in a timely manner.

• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
