πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Carry out product hardware installations for initial "pilot" customers and projects that may require up to 90% travel monthly.

β€’ Independently manage all aspects of each job: inventory, tools, travel arrangements, and attain expertise in hardware installation and performance.

β€’ Execute software-to-hardware commissioning and perform firmware updates in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

β€’ Conduct field inspections on materials, products, and processes to ensure quality and adherence to regulatory standards, specifications, and client requirements.

β€’ Perform routine on-site testing (such as visual inspections, measurements, and sample collection) to monitor product quality and detect potential issues early.

β€’ Document and report any deviations from product quality standards, escalating them to the relevant personnel.

β€’ Ensure that trailer manufacturer operations comply with product safety and quality protocols.

β€’ Supervise trailer production processes to guarantee product compliance with quality control procedures, standards, and industry best practices.

β€’ Assist in implementing corrective actions or suggesting improvements when non-conformities are detected.

β€’ Accurately record and maintain current field data, test results, and inspection reports in the company’s database.

β€’ Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports that summarize product findings, trends, and any issues identified during inspections.

β€’ Compile statistical analyses and propose recommendations for enhancing product quality.

β€’ Act as the primary point of contact for clients during on-site quality control activities.

β€’ Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to quality or compliance issues.

β€’ Ensure that client specifications are fulfilled and document any changes or modifications necessary during the project.

β€’ When required, train customer resources to enable them to carry out QC activities independently.

β€’ Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and properly maintained to facilitate accurate field testing.

β€’ Follow all safety standards and protocols while on-site to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.

β€’ Provide training and support to the FleetPulse Support Team, ensuring they comprehend quality control procedures as well as product performance and expectations.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in quality control, field inspections, or a related technical field, with a minimum of five years.

β€’ Strong understanding of vehicle hardware aftermarket installations, product fit/form/function quality, CAN/J1939 signal interpretation, and electronics testing.

β€’ Familiarity with safety specifications and operations within the trucking industry related to trailers.

β€’ Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings, and recreate them with provider approval.

β€’ Basic knowledge of testing equipment calibration and maintenance procedures.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office programs or similar methods for job recording and reporting.

β€’ A positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.

β€’ Self-driven with a persistent ability to problem-solve and address stakeholder issues.
