This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain transformative, trust-based partnerships with 32n OST grantee organizations.

• Ensure ongoing communication with grantees to provide pertinent network information, resources, events, and opportunities.

• Act as the main point of contact for designated grantees, offering timely communication, guidance, and assistance.

• Monitor grantee engagement and pinpoint opportunities to enhance participation, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.

• Record interactions with grantees and deliver regular updates on relationship-building efforts, emerging needs, successes, and trends.

• Execute the Youth Program Quality Intervention (YPQI) process with grantees to enhance program practices.

• Promote and facilitate data-driven coaching and professional development by meeting with grantees to review data and support the assess–plan–improve framework.

• Keep precise and up-to-date records of grantee data and progress.

• Analyze data and detect trends to guide coaching strategies, program enhancements, and statewide quality initiatives.

• Assist in creating reports, presentations, and other materials that convey program outcomes and impact.

• Provide progress updates, insights, and recommendations to the Quality Team to aid in collaborative planning and ongoing improvement efforts.

• Attend bi-weekly coordination meetings with Quality Coaches to synchronize statewide coaching activities and exchange insights.

• Work together with other Quality Team members and MiLEAP partners to facilitate monthly grantee meetings and associated learning sessions.

• Help coordinate or lead workshops, events, or communities of practice aimed at fostering grantee development and peer learning.

• Assist in the creation and execution of workshops, coaching events, and learning experiences that encourage high-quality OST programming.

• Participate in OST Grant Statewide meetings.

• Contribute to the assessment and improvement of coaching tools, training materials, and quality enhancement resources.

• Formulate and uphold annual work plans, schedules, and coaching calendars to guarantee consistent support for designated grantees.

• Assist MASP’s Director of Quality Capacity Building with additional quality improvement initiatives and special projects as required.

• Attend conferences, meetings, and other professional gatherings to remain updated on emerging trends, tools, and promising practices in the OST sector.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, coalition-building, network leadership, or developing cross-sector partnerships.

• Experience within the OST, youth development, education, community development, or related fields.

• Proven ability to cultivate trust, facilitate collaboration, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

• Experience in convening groups, leading meetings, and supporting collaborative planning processes.

• Experience in promoting youth involvement.

• In-depth knowledge of OST ecosystems, youth development principles, community engagement practices, and systems change.

• Strong understanding of cross-functional team dynamics, with the ability to encourage interdepartmental collaboration and strategic alignment.

• Proficient facilitator, coalition-builder, and network strategist.

• Dedication to equity and increasing OST access for youth in Michigan.

• Willingness, availability, and capability to travel statewide and nationally, as necessary.
