This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) expert for software products and releases.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated testing frameworks that support web, API, and microservices-based applications.
• Oversee and implement automated test suite environments.
• Design and develop automated unit, integration, regression, end-to-end, and performance testing suites.
• Incorporate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and establish automated quality gates.
• Ensure software compliance with DoD, program, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Work in partnership with development teams to define test strategies and guarantee comprehensive requirements, traceability, and test coverage.
• Identify, document, monitor, and verify the resolution of software defects.
• Assist in software release readiness assessments and production deployment activities.
• Produce test plans, procedures, reports, and quality metrics for both the customer and program leadership.
• Engage in Agile meetings, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Aid in accreditation, cybersecurity evaluations, and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes by validating security controls and documenting test evidence.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement focused on test automation, quality engineering, and DevSecOps maturity.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, test engineering, or software development engineering in test (SDET) roles.
• Proficiency in developing automated tests using Selenium or comparable automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with: End-to-End (E2E) Testing, Integration Testing, and Unit Testing.
• Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Experience with source control systems like Git.
• Strong capabilities in reporting and documentation.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
