Manager, QA – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead a team tasked with ensuring the quality of web-based, cloud-based, and client/server applications.

• Integrate AI technologies across platforms to enhance test coverage and minimize manual labor.

• Spearhead the design, development, and execution of extensive test automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint automation prospects early in the software development lifecycle.

• Supervise the automation of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Promote the adoption and ongoing enhancement of automation tools and best practices throughout the team.

• Act as the main advocate for automation initiatives across the organization.

• Monitor and report production bugs, delivering thorough analyses of trends, root causes, and preventive strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.

• More than 5 years of experience managing QA and automation teams within enterprise settings.

• Strong proficiency in functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, performance, and automation testing.

• Familiarity with Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and DevOps methodologies.

• Solid understanding of software quality metrics, defect lifecycle management, and root cause analysis techniques.

• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification or an equivalent QA certification is preferred.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or Agile certification is preferred.

• Extensive experience with backend/database testing using SQL and validating intricate data integrations.
