Quality Assurance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Validate the assessment tools and learning materials created for training packages within the VET sector to confirm they are valid, reliable, adequate, and up-to-date.

• Perform comprehensive quality assessments on assessment tools to guarantee their accuracy, fairness, and relevance.

• Ensure that learning materials and assessment tools meet the standards outlined in the accredited training package.

• Apply adult learning principles to ensure materials are effective and engaging for the intended audience.

• Leverage generative AI technologies to effectively and efficiently achieve team goals and objectives.

• Work in collaboration with our instructional design team to enhance the quality of assessment tools and learning resources.

• Provide clear and timely project updates to the QA Manager.

• Undertake ad-hoc reviews and validations of learning resources and assessment tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in content moderation or editing.

• Outstanding editing and proofreading abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Strong command of the English language and grammatical rules.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Effective task and time management skills.

• A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in prompt engineering for generative AI (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.) is advantageous.
