This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Conducts systematic compliance evaluations in alignment with AZAV, alongside risk-focused spot checks of documents and processes, providing clear findings for essential follow-up by relevant departments.
• Continuously track established KPIs through the Quality Dashboard to detect operational blind spots and discrepancies at an early phase.
• Prepare documentation pertinent to audits and actively assist in external provider and measure audits as per AZAV standards.
• Assess the proper documentation of complaints and incidents at a meta-level to mitigate risks within incident governance.
• Create and maintain quality management templates, checklists, and guidelines to proactively eliminate sources of error and enhance departmental accountability.
• Provide guidance to operational departments regarding regulatory ambiguities and carry out thorough preliminary analyses for the Lead QM.
• Share insights from internal and external audits with the respective departments and aid in converting these insights into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• A university degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Educational Management, Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in an operational quality management or compliance position, preferably within the state-funded education sector as per AZAV.
• Demonstrated audit and quality management expertise, ideally backed by certification as a Quality Management Officer (e.g., TÜV / ISO 9001) or Internal Auditor (ISO 9001/AZAV).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management and specialized technical understanding of regulatory requirements according to AZAV.
• Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset for executing risk-oriented spot checks and recognizing patterns.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, capable of articulating clear findings in an understandable and solution-focused manner for the departments.
• Experience in implementing measures, particularly in conducting internal audits and maintaining process documentation.
• Proficiency in German (C1/C2) and a strong command of English (B2+).
