Quality Assurance Engineer – Roaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Conduct extensive IREG-based testing (Data, Voice, SMS) for new roaming sponsors and direct partners.

• Create and uphold a thorough regression suite to ensure that modifications to the core network or Steering of Roaming (SoR) adjustments do not adversely affect the existing global footprint.

• Oversee the technical resolution of roaming issues by examining signaling traces (MAP/Diameter) and confirm the implementation of next-generation services such as VoLTE (S8HR) and SMSoIP.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of 4G/5G Roaming architectures.

• Expertise in Protocol Analysis (PCAP, Trace logs, APDU).

• Acquainted with the eSIM lifecycle (Download, Enable, Disable, Delete).

• Analytical approach to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in intricate signaling environments.

• Ideally, you possess prior experience at a Roaming Hub or IPX Provider.

• Comprehensive understanding of Steering of Roaming (SoR) and its effect on subscriber experience.

• Familiarity with GSMA IREG standards (IR.35, IR.24, IR.92).

• Knowledge of Steering of Roaming (SoR) platform logic.

• Experience in managing SIM box or remote testing probes.
