Quality Assurance Engineer – III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Quality Assurance Engineer III acts as an emerging individual contributor within a team, enhancing leadership, guidance, and mentoring abilities.

• With the backing and direction of leadership, you will take on the responsibility of achieving scope, schedule, and delivery objectives.

• You will engage with stakeholders and leverage influential skills to foster improvements in engineering processes and practices.

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the business, the interactions of practices, and the customer problems we aim to resolve.

• Estimates, designs, and creates test cases, as well as conducts manual and automated testing with minimal feedback and guidance from the team.

• Capable of leading the development of various test suites and collaborating with the team to integrate them into the software development lifecycle.

• Anticipates the coverage required for automation tools and frameworks and proactively addresses it.

• Proactively writes boilerplate and exploratory test cases that encompass unique or new functionalities/technologies.

• Able to extend testing strategies to provide plans for teams regarding new functionalities/technologies.

• Engages in planning sessions, showcasing an understanding of the overall testing strategy for the program, CI/CD delivery models, etc.

• Actively contributes to design efforts, ensuring that systems are built to be testable from the outset.

• Aids in recruitment efforts by assessing homework assignments and possibly assisting in interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and over 4 years of experience.

• Relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.

• Experience serving as a test lead.

• Test automation experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with aXe and pa11y.

• Experience utilizing Postman API and Rest Assured.

• Proficient with GitLab.

• Progressive experience with relevant technologies, understanding roles with which they collaborate and how their work influences business objectives.

• Displays moderate knowledge of testing methodologies.
