Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and uphold test plans, test cases, and testing scripts.

• Identify, document, and monitor bugs until they are resolved.

• Conduct both manual and/or automated testing (functional, regression, integration, performance).

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.

• Analyze test outcomes and generate reports on quality metrics and defects.

• Ensure that products comply with quality standards prior to release.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

• Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of software testing principles and QA methodologies.

• Experience in crafting and executing test cases and scripts.

• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.

• Experience in both manual and automated testing.

• Basic understanding of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Effective communication and documentation skills.
