Quality Assurance Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Create testing documentation, execute end-to-end testing, and develop as well as run automated test cases.

• Convert business requirements and processes into technical specifications and configuration settings tailored to software application solutions.

• Identify and evaluate risks associated with programs or projects, suggest strategies for risk mitigation, and implement plans for risk reduction.

• Develop testing strategies that ensure solutions adhere to standards of functionality, performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with team leads and engineering staff to formulate an effective testing approach.

• Perform end-to-end testing efficiently, adhering to established deadlines.

• Support and complete test orchestration, which will necessitate problem-solving through analysis, experience, and decision-making.

• Document, log, and monitor defects in the system while coordinating resolutions with the development team and functional leads.

• Evaluate test results to identify and record any defects or undesirable outcomes.

• Lead projects from a quality assurance standpoint, with a focus on the end user experience.

• Take ownership of a workstream/product line throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Engage in daily engineering meetings to update teammates and management on progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study or equivalent professional experience.

• 2-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, which includes system/integration/user acceptance testing.

• Familiarity with testing plans, documentation, processes, and execution across multiple development deliverables.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL or relevant database technologies.

• Experience with traditional Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Python.

• Experience in test automation using Selenium.
