Quality Assurance Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop test documentation, execute end-to-end testing, and create as well as run automated test cases.

• Convert business requirements and processes into technical specifications and configuration settings tailored for software applications.

• Recognize and evaluate risks associated with programs or projects, propose risk mitigation strategies, and execute risk reduction plans.

• Formulate test strategies that guarantee solutions comply with standards of functionality, performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with team leaders and engineering personnel to devise the testing strategy.

• Conduct end-to-end testing efficiently and within established deadlines.

• Facilitate and finalize test orchestration, which will involve problem-solving through analysis, experience, and decision-making.

• Accountable for documenting, logging, and monitoring defects in the system, coordinating resolutions with the development team and functional leads.

• Evaluate test results to promptly identify and document any defects or unsatisfactory outcomes.

• Guide projects from a quality assurance standpoint, consistently considering the end user.

• Take independent ownership of a workstream/product line, overseeing and testing related activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Engage in daily engineering meetings to update teammates and management on status.

• Provide assistance to the in-house support team with product defect investigation as required.

• Diagnose and analyze technical issues pertaining to software applications, reports, data, etc., when necessary.

• Be adept and confident in delivering product expertise in training and implementation settings.

• Develop and execute automated test cases.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education or work experience.

• 2-5 years of experience in a QA position, including experience with system/integration/user acceptance testing.

• Familiarity with testing plans, documentation, processes, and executing tests across multiple development deliverables.

• Minimum of 2 years of SQL/relevant database experience.

• Experience with traditional Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Python.

• Experience with test automation using Selenium.
