This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +1 more state.
• Develop comprehensive test documentation, conduct end-to-end testing, and create as well as execute automated test cases.
• Convert business requirements and processes into technical specifications and configuration settings tailored for software application solutions.
• Identify and evaluate risks associated with programs or projects, propose risk mitigation strategies, and implement plans for risk reduction.
• Formulate test strategies to ensure that solutions adhere to standards of functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with team leaders and engineering personnel to devise a testing strategy.
• Execute end-to-end testing effectively and within established deadlines.
• Assist in test orchestration, which necessitates problem-solving through analysis, experience, and decision-making skills.
• Log, track, and manage defects in the system and coordinate with the development team and functional leads for resolutions.
• Evaluate test outcomes to swiftly identify and document any defects or unsatisfactory results.
• Oversee projects from a quality assurance perspective, always considering the end user's experience.
• Take independent ownership of a workstream or product line, reviewing and testing related activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Engage in daily engineering meetings to update teammates and management on status.
• Provide assistance to the in-house support team for product defect investigation, including high-level technical support and escalations for end-users and internal staff.
• Diagnose and analyze technical issues associated with software applications, reports, data, and more.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education or professional experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, which includes:
• Familiarity with system/integration/user acceptance testing.
• Experience in developing testing plans, documentation, processes, and executing tests across multiple development deliverables.
• At least two years of SQL or relevant database experience.
• Knowledge of traditional Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Python.
• Experience with test automation utilizing Selenium.
