This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Evaluate new features and functionalities, proactively detect issues, and engage in research to determine the root causes of defect reports.
• Deliver clear and concise written documentation and problem descriptions to system developers when challenges arise.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to focus on defect prevention, usability, and functional improvements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Execute test planning, design, scripting, and manual test execution during the testing life cycle.
• Implement testing methodologies that guarantee thorough and comprehensive evaluation of assigned applications and solutions against established acceptance criteria.
• Actively monitor program performance post-implementation using available tools (Kibana, Grafana, Dynatrace, etc.) to avert recurring operational issues and ensure effective operation.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar domain.
• Collaborate within an embedded Scrum team, working alongside developers, QA, and stakeholders to emphasize defect prevention, usability, and functional improvements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Engage in test planning, design, scripting, and manual test execution during the testing life cycle.
• Utilize testing methodologies that assure exhaustive and comprehensive assessment of assigned applications and solutions against established acceptance criteria.
• Actively monitor program performance following implementation using available tools (Kibana, Grafana, Dynatrace, etc.) to avoid recurring operational issues and maintain efficiency.
• Create or modify scripts to analyze or extract data that aid in data validation and issue resolution.
• Adhere to and support documented QA processes and procedures to ensure a high-quality testing approach.
• Troubleshoot, document, and assist in root cause analysis by generating clear, concise written documentation and problem descriptions for software defects using a bug tracking system.
• Willingness to learn and understand testing automation (with guidance).
• Possess a working knowledge of database structures, usage, and SQL.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical team members.
• Serve as an advocate for application quality on behalf of customers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of U.S. employment authorization for this position.
