This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• The QA Analyst will be tasked with developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for various projects.
• Collaborate closely with different departments to execute and validate test cases based on quality standards, while suggesting modifications to established quality guidelines.
• Ensure that the final product adheres to fundamental quality benchmarks, is fully operational, and user-friendly.
• Document the complete quality testing process, detailing the program, evaluation, testing methods, and any enhancements made to the software.
• Create training materials and guide users on the proper use of the software.
• Design and implement testing plans for products to guarantee that all objectives are achieved.
• Identify procedures and scenarios necessary for the quality control of products and services.
• Conduct product reviews and communicate defects and errors to the development team.
• Relay quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team.
• Oversee efforts to address product issues and monitor progress.
• Ensure that the final product meets all requirements and aligns with end-user expectations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement to enhance product efficiency.
• Research the current market for comparable products and analyze results.
• Implement and oversee test scripts to evaluate functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
• Recommend, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective actions to maintain quality assurance standards.
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Investigate customer complaints and product-related issues.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new testing tools that streamline the troubleshooting process.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Diligent and meticulous in approach.
• Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
• Proficient in documenting bugs, issues, evidence, or any other significant items to ensure requirements are met.
• In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Practical experience with automated testing tools.
• Solid understanding of SQL and scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience in performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (80% - 90%).
