• Evaluate program performance data, focusing on cost, utilization, risk adjustment, medical claims, and quality metrics.
• Utilize SQL and Python to query and handle extensive healthcare datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create dashboards, reports, and scorecards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to relay performance information to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analyses and assess the ROI of initiatives designed to bridge gaps and enhance outcomes.
• Assist in designing, tracking, and evaluating initiatives that align with performance programs aimed at quality enhancement and cost management.
• Convert regulatory and contractual requirements into data queries and programmatic outputs.
• Predict performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs) within value-based contracts.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in quality measurement methodologies and value-based care frameworks.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Population Health, Quality, Clinical Programs, Finance, and IT, to synchronize strategies and ensure consistency across data sources and reporting.
• Act as a vital translator between technical findings and operational strategy, ensuring insights are practical for both clinical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain data quality by validating and standardizing reporting sources.
• Contribute to the improvement of analytics methodologies and reporting frameworks.
• Remain informed about best practices in healthcare analytics and regulatory developments.
• A bachelor's degree in public health, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, population health, managed care, or program evaluation roles.
• Proficient data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, or other business intelligence tools.
• Experience in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, provider networks, and quality improvement principles.
• The national target pay range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually.
• This position offers a **remote** work structure, requiring daily work from home.
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, during standard business hours (PST).
