QC Manager – Furnitures

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Partner with Quality Assurance, Sourcing, Merchandising, and suppliers to integrate quality checkpoints early in the process to guarantee product excellence.

• Direct supplier quality evaluations and compliance checks while advising suppliers on industry best practices.

• Analyze in-process and analytical data to assess quality, suggest improvement actions, and ensure resolution.

• Oversee supplier QC personnel or perform QC actions directly for troubleshooting or ongoing enhancement.

• Carry out routine inspections and audits to swiftly identify and resolve quality concerns.

• Address quality-related challenges and put corrective measures into action.

• Handle customer feedback regarding Product Quality and propose solutions.

• Track quality metrics to decrease Return rates.

• Employ basic data-analysis tools such as SPC and Pareto Charts for process enhancement.

• Assist in the deployment of a Quality Management System in collaboration with HQ Quality Assurance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of demonstrated experience in quality control, preferably within the furniture or home goods sectors.

• Experience in quality control within a manufacturing setting and/or field quality experience is advantageous.

• Comprehensive understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate efficiently with various stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.

• Proven expertise in auditing and implementing corrective actions.

• Documented success in evaluating and addressing the implications of current and potential regulatory compliance issues.

• Established proficiency in root cause analysis within a manufacturing context.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
