QA Tester, SaaS platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for new features and product enhancements prior to their release.

• Investigate, replicate, and document reported defects, providing clear findings and supporting details.

• Validate bug fixes and ensure all issues are resolved prior to deployment.

• Explore product functionality to identify edge cases, usability issues, and unexpected system behavior.

• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

• Test APIs and third-party integrations as necessary.

• Engage in requirements discussions and assist in refining user stories and tickets before development commences.

• Create, maintain, and manage work items and testing activities in Azure DevOps.

• Review and enhance QA processes, product guidelines, and documentation.

• Contribute to upholding high standards of product quality across various releases and sprint cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of **5 years of experience** in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.

• Extensive experience in testing **web and/or mobile applications**.

• Experience working in **Agile development environments** and sprint-based delivery cycles.

• Familiarity with **API testing and system integrations**.

• Proficient in using **Azure DevOps** or similar ticketing/project management platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.

• Capacity to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and think critically about product behavior.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in **SaaS product environments**.

• Exposure to platforms that support childcare, education, or operational management systems.

• Experience with exploratory and user-focused testing methodologies.

• Understanding of test documentation, QA best practices, and software development lifecycle processes.

• Familiarity with automation testing tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
