QA Tester – Funcional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute testing plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the functionality and quality of software products.

• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, while closely collaborating with developers to resolve them.

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design test cases accordingly.

• Conduct functional testing to verify that the software meets specified requirements and performs as expected.

• Execute regression testing to ensure that software changes and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.

• Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools.

• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

• Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, test coverage, and defect metrics to project stakeholders.

• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to prioritize and manage testing efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Functional QA Tester or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience with functional testing, regression testing, and test automation.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Great attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• ISTQB certification is a plus.
