This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct QA teams that support PBM applications and claims processing platforms.
• Create, standardize, and continually enhance QA processes, methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Foster a culture centered around quality through disciplined processes, automation, engineering rigor, and defect prevention.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
• Offer subject matter expertise regarding PBM business processes.
• Validate comprehensive claims adjudication workflows, encompassing eligibility, formulary, prior authorization, pricing, accumulators, coordination of benefits, reversals, rejects, and payment processing.
• Collaborate with business, product, compliance, and technology stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with regulatory and business requirements.
• Define, monitor, and report on quality metrics such as defect density, defect leakage, test coverage, automation coverage, test execution progress, cycle time, and release readiness indicators.
• Leverage data-driven insights to identify risks, enhance productivity, manage capacity, and optimize testing effectiveness.
• Prepare and deliver quality dashboards, executive status updates, release readiness assessments, and risk summaries.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and effort estimates for testing.
• Coordinate testing across various initiatives while balancing scope, schedule, risk, and team capacity.
• Work in collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Release Managers, and Operations teams.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, UAT support, API, data validation, performance, and automation testing as necessary.
• Assess and implement modern testing tools, frameworks, and accelerators.
• Address complex quality challenges and eliminate delivery bottlenecks.
• Over 15 years of experience in software quality assurance, including hands-on test design and execution.
• More than 5 years in QA leadership or management roles.
• Extensive experience in supporting PBM claims processing systems.
• Profound understanding of the SDLC, Agile execution, test estimation, risk-based testing, and release management.
• Capability to define and manage quality metrics, dashboards, and team performance indicators.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Medicaid PBM programs is highly preferred.
• Background in healthcare payer, pharmacy, managed care, or government healthcare systems.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance, regulatory standards, audit readiness, and operational controls.
• Proficient with test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, API testing tools, SQL, and data validation techniques.
• Experience leading geographically distributed or vendor-partner QA teams.
