QA Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop, design, and sustain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Conduct manual and functional testing for web applications, APIs, and databases.

• Execute tests, document defects, and monitor them until resolution.

• Ensure data integrity and validate system workflows across various platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Participate in regression testing, performance validation, and readiness for release.

• Deliver precise QA reports and metrics to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering.

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience.

• Strong understanding of web, API, and database testing.

• Proficient in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios, covering both manual and automated tests.

• Good knowledge and practical experience with Linux environments.

• Familiarity with defect tracking software such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, and TestLink.

• Experience in data encryption, key management, and security testing.

• Practical experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

• Scrum certifications are a plus.

• Proficient in advanced English.
