QA Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the competency of Coding & OASIS staff to ensure precision, uniformity, and adherence to guidelines.

• Create and implement orientation programs for new hires as well as ongoing training, including client-specific procedures and updates.

• Perform Quality Assurance assessments, document results, detect trends, and collaborate with QARs on daily QA activities.

• Act as the go-to expert for complex Coding & OASIS inquiries and keep knowledge resources up to date.

• Collaborate with managers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate client onboarding, quality discussions, and process alignment.

• Work in partnership with both stateside and offshore (India-based) review teams to enhance training, uphold quality standards, and ensure workflow consistency.

• Evaluate and provide feedback on the functionality of the McBee Clinical Review platform.

• Convey quality concerns to relevant stakeholders and assist in implementing resolution actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Coding & OASIS review.

• HCS-D certification and either HCS-O or COS-C OASIS certification.

• Proficient in ICD-10 coding and OASIS guidelines.

• Strong knowledge of home health industry regulations and guidelines.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Preferred: Advanced clinical degree.

• Preferred: Active clinical license (e.g., RN, PT, OT, SP).

• Preferred: CPHQ certification.
