This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct quality assurance assessments of eLearning, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and associated learning materials, including storyboards and PDFs, ensuring functionality, accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and compliance with client and industry standards.
• Evaluate learning products for accessibility and adherence to client branding requirements.
• Transform existing learning assets into updated, branded, and accessible formats.
• Make direct revisions and corrections using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Document bugs and edits within Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline review links.
• Assess and create meaningful alternative text for images and other visual elements.
• Ensure compatibility with screen readers, including reading order, tabbing order, and keyboard navigation.
• Identify and record issues related to functionality, content, formatting, accessibility, and usability, along with necessary corrections.
• Perform final quality checks after revisions to verify that issues have been addressed.
• Deliver clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to development team members.
• Collaborate with project teams to address quality concerns while adhering to timelines and client expectations.
• Operate independently across multiple projects and priorities in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Education, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least three years of pertinent quality assurance experience in eLearning QA/testing, ILT materials, technical editing, content editing, technical writing, proofreading, or training/learning content.
• Proven experience in reviewing and testing eLearning products for quality, functionality, and accessibility.
• Practical experience reviewing projects in Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with digital accessibility principles.
• Experience in crafting effective alt text and reviewing accessible language.
• Knowledge of verifying screen-reader compatibility, reading order, tab order, and keyboard navigation.
• Excellent proofreading, editing, and written communication capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies across content, functionality, branding, and accessibility.
• Capacity to stay focused and precise while completing detailed or repetitive QA tasks.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet project deadlines.
• Flexibility and self-motivation, with the capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in providing and receiving constructive feedback in a professional manner.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, with the ability to navigate challenges positively and collaboratively.
• Remote work arrangement.
• On-demand scheduling with varying hours based on project and business needs.
• Travel is not required.
