QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with developers, designers, and product stakeholders across the phases of requirements gathering, design, implementation, and release.

• Proactively identify risks early in the process to guarantee product quality.

• Analyze business and technical documentation to identify gaps, ambiguities, and possible risks.

• Ensure that requirements are clear, comprehensive, and can be tested effectively.

• Conduct manual testing of complex features and user flows.

• Define and refine acceptance criteria and edge cases in collaboration with the team.

• Create concise and actionable bug reports.

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation.

• Contribute to the advancement of testing practices and propose process enhancements.

• Actively participate as a user to help shape the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on web applications and UI/UX validation.

• Practical experience in testing payment processes.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

• Hands-on experience with shift-left testing, including early engagement in reviewing requirements, validating designs, and identifying potential risks.

• Experience in creating test documentation, such as user scenario-based checklists and well-structured bug reports.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools.

• An analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a startup environment with changing documentation, both independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and strong communication skills.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Availability within ±4 hours of GMT+1 to ensure adequate workday overlap.
