Application QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) testing for web applications.

• Execute manual, functional, exploratory, and regression tests.

• Assess new UI features by simulating real user workflows.

• Develop, document, and uphold test cases and scripts based on specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Detect, document, and monitor software defects.

• Generate thorough bug reports that include reproduction steps, expected vs. actual outcomes, and relevant screenshots or screen recordings.

• Re-evaluate resolved defects and confirm bug fixes.

• Carry out cross-browser and multi-device testing.

• Utilize browser developer tools to discover and log console or network errors.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers during sprint planning and refinement sessions.

• Perform regression testing prior to releases and assist in release readiness/sign-off.

• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the team's test-case library and defect-tracking mechanisms.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Manual Testing.

• Practical experience with Manual Testing methodologies.

• Proficient in conducting End-to-End (E2E) Testing.

• Familiarity with Regression Testing processes.

• Experience in Exploratory and Functional Testing techniques.

• Capability to create and maintain effective test cases and scripts.

• Proven experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects/bugs.

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the QA lifecycle.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks, sprints, and software release cycles.

• Basic proficiency in using browser developer tools, including the ability to capture console or network errors.

• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and reproducible defect reports.

• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
