QA Mobile Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and uphold scalable automation frameworks.

• Streamline API, mobile, and end-to-end testing processes through automation.

• Create and sustain mobile automation suites leveraging established frameworks and best practices.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery.

• Evaluate automation results, identify potential risks, and convey findings to stakeholders.

• Propel quality initiatives throughout the project and advocate for automation excellence.

• Set up QA automation best practices and processes for ongoing improvement.

• Guide and support team members through technical mentorship and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to ensure software quality.

• Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor for QA Automation efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Strong expertise in automating APIs with Playwright.

• Proficient in automating mobile applications using WebDriverIO.

• Solid skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience in testing REST APIs, authentication flows, and token management.

• Proven experience in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Git and contemporary software development practices.

• Experience leading QA automation projects and endorsing automation best practices.

• Experience with mobile banking applications is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical leadership abilities.

• Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with k6 performance testing.

• Relevant banking certifications.

• Certifications in mobile testing.
