QA Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of a thorough QA strategy that aligns with platform objectives.

• Establish and uphold quality standards, best practices, and metrics across various projects.

• Supervise and mentor QA engineers, fostering ongoing skill enhancement and collaboration across teams.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to seamlessly integrate QA practices within the SDLC.

• Encourage a culture of early testing, continuous feedback, and ownership of quality throughout teams.

• Design, implement, and sustain scalable and maintainable UI and API automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Incorporate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for ongoing validation.

• Manage the planning and execution of all testing types — functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT.

• Examine defects and test results to identify trends and promote systemic quality enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Engineering.

• Proficiency in automated testing (UI/API), QA strategies and frameworks, Selenium, Playwright, Postman, Cypress, ADO, CI/CD integration, test case management, QA metrics, and Agile testing.

• Background in performance testing (JMeter), GenAI test automation tools (e.g., Co Pilot, GPT-assisted testing), accessibility and usability testing, as well as experience with Azure cloud environments.
