QA Lead – Release and Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and ongoing improvement.

• Design, create, and sustain robust automation frameworks from the ground up utilizing AI-based technologies.

• Enhance our overall QA strategy as we progress towards Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).

• Supervise the creation of extensive UI and API test suites.

• Conduct complex data validation and backend testing with PostgreSQL and other SQL databases.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software, translating business requirements into technical and testing specifications.

• Share your technical knowledge with the broader QA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of combined experience in QA team management and hands-on automation testing.

• More than 3 years of experience in a Release Quality or comparable role, particularly focused on automating release validation processes.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, including practical experience with AI-based testing tools.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL or other relational database systems.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity (or Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or above for effective team collaboration.

• Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.

• Experience automating Windows desktop applications (using AI or similar advanced techniques) is a significant advantage.

• Experience with automated visual testing.

• Proven track record in enterprise-level release management.

• Experience in testing cybersecurity products.
