QA Lead – Betting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold QA standards, frameworks, and processes that align with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.

• Provide guidance on quality enhancement initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.

• Define and execute automated testing strategies for functional, integration, and performance testing.

• Lead the design and upkeep of automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for ongoing testing and swift feedback.

• Monitor automation coverage and effectiveness, providing metrics to stakeholders.

• Embed QA practices within Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure testing is incorporated into the deployment pipeline.

• Advocate for shift-left testing and continuous quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Support test environments and implement infrastructure as code to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Select and deploy suitable testing tools and methodologies for both automation and manual testing.

• Promote best practices in test automation and continuous integration.

• Work with development, product, and operations teams to meet quality objectives.

• Communicate test results, automation progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Mentor and coach QA team members in automation as well as Agile and DevOps practices.

• Allocate resources and manage workload across various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in QA leadership positions with a strong emphasis on automated testing and Agile/DevOps environments.

• Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Specflow or Reqnroll.

• Scripting capabilities in Python or JavaScript.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-based testing environments like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
