QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive testing throughout FUT, SIT, and UAT phases.

• Create, improve, and maintain effective automation suites utilizing Playwright with Python.

• Lead validation testing and regression automation for essential business workflows.

• Verify EDI transactions, critical business reports, and ensure data integrity across integrated systems.

• Convert technical specifications into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.

• Foster continuous enhancements in automation frameworks, QA processes, and tools.

• Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of 4–5 QA Automation Engineers, performing regular check-ins, code reviews, and skill development sessions.

• Establish and uphold QA best practices, automation standards, and coding guidelines within the team.

• Manage task distribution, workload balancing, and timely delivery across various concurrent projects.

• Collaborate with engineering leads, product stakeholders, and project managers to shape quality roadmaps, risk assessments, and release strategies.

• Provide leadership in test planning, strategy, estimation, and quality metrics for all releases.

• Ensure the team upholds high standards of test coverage, automation stability, and defect prevention.

• Represent QA in cross-functional discussions, release readiness reviews, and customer-facing updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in Automation Testing, including more than 3 years in a Lead or Senior Engineer capacity.

• Strong practical expertise in Playwright with Python (mandatory).

• Experience in designing and maintaining Playwright-based automation frameworks for regression and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with Selenium is a plus.

• Advanced skills in PL/SQL for backend and data validation.

• Strong knowledge of EDI testing and report validation in enterprise settings.

• Significant experience working in Agile environments with tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience collaborating with global teams.

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high-quality results in a client-facing context.
