QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define, implement, and oversee the QA strategy, processes, and governance for custom .NET/Blazor-based applications.

• Lead the planning, design, execution, and reporting of QA activities across policy administration, underwriting, and claims workflows.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure clarity of requirements, adequate coverage, and alignment with business objectives.

• Drive the automation strategy for UI and API testing, with preferred tools including Selenium, Rest Assured, Playwright, or their equivalents.

• Conduct end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for .NET/Blazor/C# applications.

• Ensure robust defect management and reporting practices, offering metrics and dashboards to stakeholders.

• Mentor QA team members regarding both insurance domain knowledge and test automation methodologies.

• Participate in UAT support and coordination with business teams to ensure readiness for production launches.

• Continuously assess QA tools, practices, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience in QA, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership position.

• Extensive experience with .NET, Blazor (Server & WebAssembly), and C# in custom development environments.

• Practical QA/BA experience in Claims, Policy Administration, and Underwriting within P&C Insurance; experience with Commercial Property LOB is preferred.

• Proficient in functional, regression, integration, and automation testing.

• Experience in designing and executing automated test suites for web applications and APIs.

• Hands-on experience in Agile projects and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present QA status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
