QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a regular testing schedule for regression testing to guarantee prompt and comprehensive assessment of the software. Uphold this rhythm to fulfill the quality benchmarks established by the team.

• Identify and onboard qualified QA team members to form a proficient internal team. Provide effective leadership as the team expands, ensuring that high quality assurance standards are sustained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in constructing and sustaining end-to-end test suites at scale using Playwright.

• Proven track record in managing test flakiness — identifying root causes, establishing and enforcing flake budgets, and maintaining trust in test suites.

• Experience overseeing an external QA vendor from the client's perspective (defining scope, directing tasks, managing transitions).

• Collaborative experience with Product Managers on defining acceptance criteria and E2E test specifications.

• Familiarity with CI integration, test parallelization, environment management, and test reporting.

• Experience owning a test suite from start to finish, rather than merely contributing to it.

• Ability to express a well-informed perspective on the test pyramid and the role of E2E testing within it.

• Excellent written communication skills — able to work asynchronously and remotely across different time zones.
