QA Intern – PayStore

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business and technical requirements to determine testing scenarios;

• Support the creation and upkeep of both manual and automated test scripts as well as test plans;

• Engage in the development of API test automation scripts utilizing Java and JavaScript;

• Verify, document, and communicate bugs and inconsistencies identified during testing;

• Guarantee the quality of software releases, emphasizing error prevention;

• Acquire and implement best practices in test automation;

• Maintain test automation code and documentation in an updated state.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline;

• Strong programming logic skills;

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in JavaScript and Java (object-oriented programming);

• Fundamental understanding of databases and SQL (SELECT, JOIN, INSERT);

• Introductory knowledge of Agile methodologies;

• Familiarity with REST APIs and comprehension of the HTTP protocol (verbs GET, POST, PUT, DELETE; status codes; headers; and JSON payloads).
